Dawn greets me with a smile as I sit upon the porch
Mist disseminates with the piercing of the suns sweet rays
Same as the spiralling steam
That rises from a coffee cup

It's a different way to look upon the world
Brighter clear and true
Touched by joyous beauty
So simple so pure

It's a different way to look upon the world
Brighter clear and true
Touched by endless beauty
So simple so pure

Sun caresses me, shoulders draped with loving arms
I feel a kiss upon my cheek
Bellbirds pay homage in our summer place
I praise the crisp, clear morning
And I know what alive means

Green pastures emerging with the suns smile
Mandala is seen in the spiders web
Her tiring night complete
Glistening with dew
A splendiferous display
A gift from the night at the summer place
